The Keweenaw is a beautiful place to run, and a beautiful place to visit! Local attractions are plentiful.
Secluded, quiet, and quaint. Copper Harbor Michigan is the definition of a getaway. With minimal cell phone reception (WiFi is available at various establishment throughout the area, though) and a population of about 80 full-time residents (that number tops out at about 300 during peak summer season), you’ll fall in love with the Lake Superior shoreline, the forests and the people. The Keweenaw is now home to the most unique and adventurous “runcation” opportunity there is!
Lodging
The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge (the host and site of the Back 9 Endurance Run) has a variety of rustic log cabins available for rent. The Lodge’s website has detailed listings with interior and exterior pictures of each cabin to help you decide which cabin will best suit your needs.
